Fitting into grad school was hard - and I wanted to pick up new hobbies. I compiled some random interesting skills which can be learned to an intermediate level in 2-4 weeks.

I dedicate time on a best-effort basis. Here’s how the progress has been so far.

• Nov 2023: Revised Chemistry 101 from undergrad.
• Dec 2023: Learnt conversational Spanish. (Update: I have been told my Spanish is abysmal.)
• Feb 2024: Learnt solving Rubik’s cube in 30 seconds - PR 25.65 seconds (28.13, averaged over 10 attempts).
• Mar 2024: How to moonwalk.
• Mar 2024: Conversational ASL.
• Apr 2024: Learning how to tie different kinds of ties.
• May 2024: Counting upto 20 in 20 languages.
• Jun 2024: Baking a pizza from scratch.
• Sep 2024: Doing hula hoops.
• Oct 2024: Using chopsticks to eat rice.
• Nov 2024: How to pick a lock.
• Dec 2024: Learnt writing in Hangeul script (Korean).
• Jan 2024: Juggling 3 balls.
